This aerial was taken after the flooding of Lake Eyre in 2010. It had been some 10 years previous since any good flooding of Lake Eyre. this water lasted for the next 3 years.

This Cattlemens' hut is opposite the Alpine Ski Village of Dinner Plain. The contrast between this austere accommodation and the comfort of today's rental accommodation over the road, could not be greater.
